A perfect spring wedding with an abundance of laughter and golden fields makes for an easy day. It was nothing but a pleasure to witness these two beautiful souls get married on the stunning grounds of One Paddock Winery.

Not many words are needed to describe this wedding once you’ve looked at the photos and watched the video. But a couple of words come to mind. Joy is one of them. It’s so evident that these two are joyful people. Infectious to the point of making everyone around them smile by simply being in their vicinity.

To be welcomed into their special day and trusted meant the world to us. Not only did we truly care about these guys at this point, but we had also celebrated many other special occasions with them and now got to be there to see them become husband and wife and share their first high-five.

An all-time favourite. But wait… say that about everyone don’t we? I mean, can you blame us when we get to work with people like Lauren and Grayson? Not only are we invited behind the scenes to one of the most special days of someone’s life, but we’re trusted to capture it.

We’ve always loved the fact that we get to work with so many people from different walks of life and can I just say, after this wedding, we were very tempted to sell everything, move to Bordertown, and become farmers.

The day started on a high note. Emma’s parents made it across the oceans just in time to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime day and their presence made it all the more special.

We could write a novel about this day and go on for hours about how truly remarkable these two are as a couple, but we will just say this. It’s truly special being invited into intimate moments like these and being treated not as strangers, but as friends.

Kylie & Mark are just one of those couples that make everyone feel good. Generous to a fault and apparently always smiling. It comes as no surprise then that the people they choose to surround themselves with are much the same.

A sweet sense of calm was resting on this day. Sure, some nerves were present but nothing in comparison to the certainty of what these two were about to do. A commitment that honestly didn’t seem risky at all.

This wedding has a story connected to it that will never be forgotten. It was a Wednesday in the middle of November when the South Australian lockdown was announced. Only three days out from when Hayley & Eddie were meant to get married. We were so close, yet covid didn’t have much compassion.

You may remember Georgia and Chad from one of our previous blogs. We spent a lovely, warm summer evening with them a bit over a year ago at their beautiful house nestled in between endless vineyards.

With the ceremony starting off the beautiful little town of Tanunda in a spectacular church to the dusty sunset on the hill, every moment was truly magical.

We instantly connected and couldn’t help but be drawn in by Aisha’s infectious, bubbly character and Lee’s dashing smile. That evening we formed a bond and became more than just their photographers but their friends.

This one was special. Longtime friends and people of genuine and caring nature, Jessi-Leigh and Harley's day was beyond special and so memorable.
